On 18th June, we held an interactive whole day workshop in Leicester, involving a range of experts and interested stakeholders to discuss the initial findings from the research. The 27 participants included people who had travelled abroad for fertility treatment, healthcare providers, counsellors, representatives of overseas clinics, patient support group representatives, academics, policy makers and regulators.

The aim of the workshop was to assist the team to further explore the data from the study and to discuss any implications of our findings for policy and practice. The event went very well and the team were commended by participants, for putting together an informative and enjoyable event. A summary of the discussion will be sent to participants shortly and we intend to include the findings from the workshop in the final project report.
